The Big Five Project returns for another installment in the chronological analysis, review, and discussion about WWE’s Big Five PPVs/ Premium Live Events. On this Episode, the guys cover Royal Rumble ’94. Having survived a less than stellar 1993, WWE would rebound with a much stronger effort in 1994 and it began here at the Royal Rumble. The undercard shined on this night with great matches featuring Tatanka v. Bam Bam Bigelow and Razor Ramon defending the Intercontinental Championship against IRS. But two other matches would have massive implications. In one of them, Owen Hart turned on his brother Bret to kick off one of the biggest feuds in WWE history. In the other, Yokozuna, and half the roster, stuffed the Undertaker into a casket and he was not seen again until the summer. Then, we ended up with one of the most controversial finishes to a Royal Rumble match in history. There is a lot to like here at Royal Rumble ’94 so tune in to this latest installment of the Big Five Project and get all the details!
