On Episode 192, we continue to play catch up while bringing you another in our stellar series of interviews.
We begin by looking at all the action from the week of May 8, 2017. The WWE was across the Pond and we recap all the big news and events coming out of London that week. Dean Ambrose and The Miz were acting Raw GMs for this episode and this resulted in The Miz taking on Finn Balor while Dean Ambrose would battle Bray Wyatt in the Main Event. The situation between Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns exploded…and things did not end well for the Monster Among Men. A Tag Team Turmoil event took place to determine the new #1 contender for the Raw Tag Team Titles. Who emerged as the next team to challenge The Hardy Boyz for the Tag Titles? Hostilities persisted between Samoa Joe and Seth Rollins and this led to a match between The Kingslayer and The Destroyer. TJP took on Jack Gallagher, Alexa Bliss went up against Mickie James, and Sasha Banks tangled with Alicia Fox. How did this all turn out? We let you know on Episode 192.
It is then on to Smackdown Live which would see a huge 6 Man Tag match takle place pitting Randy Orton, AJ Styles and Sami Zayn against Kevin Owens, Jinder Mahal, and Baron Corbin. Along the way, Becky Lynch went up against Natalya, Dolph Ziggler confronted Shinsuke Nakamura, and Breezeango took on The Ascenscion as the pieces continued to move as Smackdown drew closer to Backlash.
We then look at 205 Live which saw excellent matches between Tony Neese vs Mustafa Ali and Akira Tozawa vs The Brian Kendrick. Did the Kendrick vs Tozawa feud come to an end…or did it just truly begin? We let you know on Episode 192.
It is then on to NXT, which saw Alestair Black in action, and an impromptu match between #DIY and the team of Riddick Moss and Tino Sabatelli. In the Main Event, Hideo Itami went to war with Roderick Strong, with the winner getting the shot at Bobby Roode and the NXT Championship at NXT Takeover: Chicago. Which man came out on top to earn the title opportunity? We let you know on Episode 192.
