On Episode 145, the guys begin by briefly discussing the recent US Presidential election in a way you probably haven’t heard before. From there though, they review the last two weeks of action on Monday Night Raw.
We begin with the Halloween Edition of Raw, which began with an in-ring confrontation between Goldberg and Rusev. With that kind of a hot start, things could only go downhill from there and that was certainly the case as Enzo took on Luke Gallows in a Trick-Or-Street Fight. TJ Perkins tried to recapture the Cruiserweight Championship that he had lost to Brian Kendrick the night before at Hell In A Cell. Much of this episode of Raw shifted the focus of things to Survivor Series and, to that end, Mick Foley named Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho and Roman Reigns to the Raw Men’s team. Tensions would run high though and Mick Foley would end up booking Roman Reigns vs Chris Jericho for the United States Championship that night. A 20-man Battle Royal would then ensue to determine the 4th member of the team. Who came out on top? On the Women’s side of things, Charlotte named Nia Jax and Bayley to her team…but then showed tough love as she matched up Bayley against Nia. And what unlikely individual came to Roman Reign’s aide at the end of this episode of Raw? We let you in on all the details here on Episode 145.
We then review the November 7, 2016 episode of Raw from Glasgow, Scotland. After the events of a week previously, Stephanie McMahon introduces the 5th member of Raw’s Survivor Series Men’s Team…and then pits them against each other in a Fatal 5 Way at the end of the night. Noam Dar made his Raw Cruiserweight debut in his home country. The New Day tried to motivate the other Tag Teams representing the Raw Survivor Series Tag Team squad…but would find themselves in a match against Gallows & Anderson. Meanwhile, The Golden Truth and The Shining Stars squared off to see who would be the 5th tam added to the mix. We also found out the final two women who would round out the Raw Survivor Series Women’s team. Lastly, Sami Zayn took on Rusev to see who would answer Dolph Ziggler’s “open challenge” for the Intercontinental Championship at Survivor Series. Who will be the one to try and bring the Intercontinental Championship to Raw? We let you know on Episode 145.
We close things down on Episode 145 with an interview with pro wrestler, Tyler Cross. From his early beginnings in backyard wrestling to his recent run as the Second City Champion with the Chicago Wrestling Alliance, Tyler has seen a lot in his relatively young career. In his first ever interview, Tyler recaps his career and offers his thoughts on the industry in a great 45 minute conversation with Dave to bring Episode 145 to a great finish.
