It’s a special mid-week episode of the Attitude Of Aggression Wrestling Podcast and there is a very good reason why we are coming to you a bit earlier than normal. Well, two reasons actually.
On Monday, December 14, 2015, just one day after TLC 2015, one of the most significant Raws in recent memory came our way from Philadelphia, PA. One night after laying waste to Triple H, Roman Reigns had to face the music…and the music’s name was Vince McMahon. A face to face confrontation with the boss led to a startling development: Roman Reigns would get a shot at Sheamus’ WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Should he fail to win the title, however, Roman would be fired. The stakes had never been higher for Roman and with it all on the line, could he finally break through against the Celtic Warrior? Plus, we got a very good extreme rules match between the ECW Originals and the Wyatt Family. Would being in Philly make any difference to Team Extreme or would they fall victim to the Eater of Worlds yet again? Plus all the developments with the new Intercontinental Champion, Dean Ambrose, and the Divas’ Champion, Charlotte, are explored.
But Raw was not the only huge event taking pl;ace this week as NXT went overseas to bring us Takeover: London. We review the big NXT event in detail. Could Emma handle Asuka? Could Enzo Amore & Big Cass finally break through and capture those elusive NXT Tag Team Titles from Dash & Dawson? Would Apollo Crews or Baron Corbin take a major step forward? And what about the Women’s Championship? Who prevailed between Nia Jaxx and Bayley…and why were we so displeased with this match? Lastly, could Samoa Joe wrest the NXT Championship away from Finn Balor, or would Finn channel his inner demon and retain his title.
We have all this and more in Episode 58. And make sure to stick around to the very end of the Podcast as we are playing for you Aggressionaholics the song Embrace The Storm by Unparalleled Heights, a band who will be appearing on the Podcast in the next week or two. This band screams Attitude Of Aggression and we think you will agree that the new song is fantastic.
