For Episode 103, we begin by reviewing a rather underwhelming edition of Monday Night Raw from this past Monday in Green Bay. The New Day tried to pry some information from Stephanie and Shane McMahon about the upcoming brand split but this devolved into a dance contest that then turned into a match between the WWE Tag Team Champs and the Vaudevillains. What other team crashed that party to stake their own claim to the Tag Titles? They say silence is golden. Why was too much silence such a bad thing when the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins faced off on Raw? Rusev continued to dominate as United States Champion while Charlotte continued to make enemies as the reigning Women’s Champion. The big news, however, was the return of The Face That Runs The Place, John Cena. AJ Styles would welcome the 15x Champion back and then would seemingly team up with him to face the challenge of his former Club members, Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. Things did not go down that way at all though and we have all the details for you on Episode 103.
We then move to NXT for the go-home show for NXT Takeover: The End, coming up this week. The Revival got more than they bargained for when Johnny Gargano and Tomasso Ciampa challenged them to a match this week. Could Dash and Dawson maintain momentum heading into their NXT Tag Team Title match with American Alpha at Takeover? Austin Aries tried to also build momentum as he took on Elias Samson. How did The Greatest Man That Ever Lived fare against The Drifter as he readied himself for his match at Takeover against Shinsuke Nakamura? Corey Graves hosted an interview between the NXT Champion, Samoa Joe, and the former champ, Finn Balor, as they gear up for the Steel Cage title match at Takeover. And Nia Jax and Asuka came to blows during a contract signing for their NXT Women’s Championship match at Takeover. Which lady came out on top of the brief exchange as the two gear up for their war at Takeover?
We have all the answers for you on Episode 103.
