It is the go-home week for Money In The Bank and here on Episode 107, we get the ball rolling to get you ready for what could be one of the most important PPVs of 2016.
We begin with Monday Night Raw from June 13, 2016. The show came at us from the Big Easy but there was plenty of tension on this night. All six contenders for the MITB Briefcase were in action on this night as Sami Zayn took on Cesaro and Dean Ambrose took on Chris Jericho. Kevin Owens and Alberto Del Rio ended up seeing their MITB slots put on the line in a match against the Lucha Dragons. Sandwiched between all of that though, the Ambrose Asylum made its return as Dean hosted his former Shield running mates, Seth Rollins, and the WWE World Champion, Roman Reigns. What surprising turn of events took place at the end of this segment to raise some big questions as to several things happening at MITB this weekend. We also got the contract signing between John Cena and AJ Styles. What made this such a unique contract signing? WWE did quite well with this go-home show, bucking a recent trend. We tell you why on Episode 107.
We then look at NXT and the fallout from Takeover: The End. The Authors of Pain made their official debut. We also saw TM61 go up against the former Tag Team Champions, Blake & Murphy. Andrade “Cien” Almas and Tye Dillinger had a rematch from Takeover while Carmella clashed with Tessa Blanchard. But the real big story is the apparent match between Finn Balor and Shinsuke Nakamura, agreed to by both men on this week’s NXT. How did this huge match come into being and why is Gator not as stoked about this match as Dave? We let you know on Episode 107.
