At long last, Episode 50 is here and we really could not have crammed more content into an Episode than we did for our 50th.
For Episode 50, we bring you three very good interviews with three great guys. First up, we welcome back to the show our good friend, Patrick Leiser. Patrick was the first guest ever on the Attitude Of Aggression and he returns for Episode 50 to let us know what is going on with him and to which promotion(s) he may be heading. Plus Patrick shares with us some great backstage stories that scrape the surface of his 20+ years in the pro wrestling business.
Our second interview is with pro wrestling historian Phil White. We spent nearly an hour with Phil talking about all sorts of things but with a particular focus on Survivor Series. Along the way though, Phil shares with us his knowledge as to wide variety of topics such as the crazy lives being led by Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage during their prime. Some of it is common knowledge…some of it, not so much. But it is all very entertaining stuff from Phil and we think his knowledge of wrestling history will impress you as much as it did us.
Our final interview is with Indy wrestler Ray Steele. It is a great look at the life of a true Indy talent trying to forge a name for himself in an increasingly competitive and vibrant industry. Ray has been in the ring with pros like Lanny “The Genius” Poffo and The Honky Tonk Man. Yet he still feels like he has much to learn. Ray’s story is a fascinating one and it is one we think you Aggressionaholics will enjoy.
From there, we move on to a special Hot Tag segment for Episode 50 as we rank, discuss, and debate the best Forgotten WrestleMania Classics. What does that mean exactly? Good question. We weren’t exactly sure ourselves. But what we did for this Hot Tag was take a look at the greatest WrestleMania matches that were not Main Events or so well known that they are considered by fans, casual and hardcore, as universally accepted classics. Sure, that leaves much to the imagination. But we think you will find many matches that are discussed here to be true WrestleMania classics that you might have forgotten about.
We close out Episode 50 by debuting our Back To The Front segment. We are going back to the front lines of the Monday Night War to compare and contrast the War between WWE and WCW in a unique way that really has not been done before. In Episode 50 we look at the first shots fired in the Monday Night War…the debut Episode of WCW Monday Nitro. For full details on how Back To The Front will work, tune in to Episode 50.
On behalf of all of us here at The Attitude Of Aggression Wrestling Podcast, thank you so very much for all your continued support as we now embark upon the next 50 Episodes.
On to 100!
