Episode 70 of the Attitude Of Aggression Wrestling Podcast begins with an interview of Michael Clinco of The Wrestling Express. Michael returns to the show to discuss with us what is new at The Wrestling Express and we also discuss the fallout from the Royal Rumble, what we expect to see at WrestleMania 32, NXT, Tag Teams, AJ Styles coming to WWE and everything in between. We cover a lot of ground with Michael…including Gatz singing him the jingles he came up with for The Wrestling Express. That, alone, is worth the price of admission.
From there, Dave brings you the week in review segment of the show. He starts off on Raw where Dean Ambrose confronted Brock Lesnar…and loved to talk about it. More or less. The Divas were front and center this week as we saw the implosion of a faction and a major upset along the way. AJ Styles came on Miz TV and, as expected, things did not stay friendly the whole way through. All that plus the latest on the Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler feud, Kalisto continuing to impress, and all the latest as we gear up for the big Triple Threat match at FastLane between Brock Lesnar, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.
It is then on to NXT where the repackaged Vaudevillains took on the Hype Bros. We also saw a relative unknown give Asuka a challenge. How would Steven Regal resolve the controversial finish from last week’s Triple Threat match to determine the #1 contender for Finn Balor’s NXT Championship? And in the Main Event, Balor took on Apollo Crews in a non-title match designed to finish what had been started between these two a couple of months back. Could the champ turn back the challenge from Crews or would Apollo take major step towards getting himself in line for a potential title shot? We have those answers for you on Episode 70.
We close things down by reviewing Smackdown which included some more potential friction between Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns, AJ Styles vs The Miz, Kalisto battling Kevin Owens and a new look for Ryback. How did it all shake out? Tune in to Episode 70 to find out.
