Episode 71 is a somber and emotional one as we, like the rest of the pro wrestling world, were shocked to learn of Daniel Bryan’s retirement on February 8, 2016. Much of Episode 71 is spent discussing the retirement of one of the most beloved and well-respected pro wrestlers over the past few years, the former WWE World Champion, Daniel Bryan. A true champion of the people, Daniel touched many lives and that is evidenced on Episode 71 as Dave’s wife, Kayleen, gets on the mic to share her thoughts about one of her favorite wrestlers. So, we dedicate Episode 71 to Daniel and wish him nothing but the best in all his future endeavors.
Though Daniel’s retirement dominated things, and cast a very large shadow over all else, there was still a rather good edition of Monday Night Raw that took place from Seattle this past week and we cover that for you in detail here. There was a contract signing that took place for the Triple Threat Main Event at Fastlane between Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar and Dean Ambrose. With all three guys in the ring at once, what could possibly go wrong? And who would be getting even with whom later on in the evening. Kevin Owens and Dolph Ziggler continued their war. Who came out on top this time? Becky Lynch battled Tamina with both Sasha Banks and Naomi at ringside. How did this situation escalate quickly and what exactly went down?
