Welcome to the very first episode of the Attitude of Aggression Wrestling Podcast. In this first episode, I take a look at WrestleMania 31 in depth, preview the big event, and make my predictions for the Showcase of the Immortals. I also introduce the Hot Tag segment and pose the question: What can be done to make the Intercontinental Championship and United States Championships relevant again? The Creative Corner segment makes its debut as I offer up three different story lines centering around the main event at WrestleMania 31. Then, we begin our journey through the modern history of pro wrestling. I provide some analysis as to the year 1983 and the very first pay-per-view that shows up in the WWE Network’s archives, Starrcade ’83.
All in all, I will say this first episode is OK, if I am self-critiquing myself. It is too long and I am not happy with all the “ums” and “uhs” that I heard listening to this. Still, I thought about this episode for almost 6 months and if I wait until it is perfect, then it will never get done. But my promise to all of you is that I absolutely, positively will get better. So stick with me folks…this will be an excellent podcast and a glorious journey through the past, present and future for all who wish to ride along. Thanks to everyone for your support and for subscribing.
**UPDATE** Please note this first episode was recorded the day before Brock Lesnar made his huge announcement that has had signed a multi-year deal to remain with WWE. That kind of moots one of the story lines in the Creative Corner. But I still like the idea, had Brock decided to go back to UFC. If nothing else, for Daniel Bryan fans, I think you will enjoy the fantasy booking.
