We then do some catch up work as we review NXT and the Cruiserweight Classic (CWC) from July 27, 2016. NXT was, in many ways, a reloading episode as it realigns itself after the Draft. Blake & Murphy decided to try and one up each other by challenging two of the very best Japan has to offer. Blake took on Shinsuke Nakamura while Murphy tangled with CWC standout, Kota Ibushi. How did the former tag champs fare in singles competition against two of the best in the world? Billie Kae and Santana Garrett tried to establish themselves in a wide open Women’s Division while TM-61 and No Way Jose were also in action. Additionally, William Regal announced who the NXT Champion, Samoa Joe, would be defending the title against at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II…and The Champ was not too happy about it. We close things off by looking at the CWC’s third Episode.
